Where Sojial does and does not use artificial intelligence or automated decision-making.

Current AI status
No AI-based profiling, ranking, content recommendation, automated moderation or generative AI features are used at launch. If AI features are introduced later, this page will be updated before or at the time of release and users will receive appropriate transparency information.
Automated decision-making
Sojial does not make automated individual decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects on you (Art. 22 GDPR). Moderation decisions are made by people, not by automated systems.
Composer intent suggestion
The post composer pre-fills a suggested "intent" (connect, discuss, help, explore) using a small, deterministic keyword rule — not AI or machine learning. It is always shown as an editable suggestion you can change or ignore, and it does not decide anything about you.
If we add AI later
Any future AI feature will be assessed against the EU AI Act and the GDPR, disclosed clearly, and — where it interacts with users or generates content — labelled. We do not claim AI Act provider or deployer obligations apply today, because no AI system is currently active.
