Reporting Content
How to report illegal or harmful content on Sojial. This is our notice-and-action process; where the EU Digital Services Act applies we handle reports accordingly.
Status: Reviewed · public-launch ready (GO) · Last updated: 2026-06-18
What you can report
Illegal content and conduct, and content that breaks our Community Guidelines — for example harassment, hate speech, threats, non-consensual imagery, child-safety violations, impersonation, scams or spam.
How to report
Use the in-app report action on a post, comment, profile or event where available, or email safety@sojial.com. Please include a link and a short description so we can locate and assess the content.
Report categories
Selecting a category (e.g. harassment, hate, illegal content, child safety, privacy, impersonation, spam) helps us triage and prioritise. Child-safety and imminent-harm reports are escalated immediately.
How we review
Reports are reviewed by a person, not by automated decision-making. We assess the content against our rules and the law, take proportionate action, and keep a record. We review reports without automatically notifying the reported person.
Urgent & illegal content
Imminent risk to life or safety should also be reported to local emergency services — Sojial is not an emergency service. Suspected child sexual abuse material is removed and reported to the competent authorities where legally required.
Notice & appeal
Where the DSA applies, affected users receive a statement of reasons for actions taken and can challenge a decision. See Moderation appeals and our DSA page.
